We received a request from our legal partner to support a client from their “Germany Practice”. It appeared that the Managing Director of one of their participations had resigned from his position some time ago due to serious personal problems.

“From various discussions with the client, it appeared that they were confronted with a dramatic decline in sales and were losing customers. Furthermore, there was mistrust at the holding level and little trust amongst the personnel within the participation.”

Through its recruitment partner, Tailor Made Consultancy provided an interim manager with extensive knowledge of the German market and the relevant sector. An additional benefit: she had worked for a direct competitor in Germany. Partly as a result of this, it appeared that she was able to rebuild trust with the directors of the Holding, create calm in the whole organization, develop a strategic plan and ultimately win back a large number of customers. After 1.5 years sales have increased and the return has significantly improved. Recently, the interim manager has been asked to take on a similar assignment at another foreign participation (Poland). Tailor Made Recruitment is currently looking for a permanent replacement for the position of German Managing Director.
